Everyone’s heard of the saying “The gut is the second brain”- so a healthy gut means a healthy body and mind! Therefore, it is important to start off a day with an easily digested breakfast.
Here are our 3 easy breakfast recipes for better digestion:
1. A kefir-fruit smoothie

Ingredients:
- 1 banana
- 350ml of Kefir (can be coconut kefir as a vegan option)
- 80g of frozen berries
- 20g of almonds
- 1/3 tablespoon vanilla sugar
- 1/3 tablespoon honey
Instructions:
Put all ingredients together in a blender and blend well.
Serve in two cups or two glasses and your breakfast is ready!
2. Overnight oats

Ingredients:
- 60g oats
- 150ml apple juice
- 1/2 tablespoon of honey or maple syrup
- 1 tablespoon1 of raisins
- 1 grated apple
- 50g of coconut yogurt
Instructions:
Soak oats in apple juice and add raisins and honey/maple syrup. Let sit overnight.
In the morning, stir the mixture with grated apples and top with coconut yogurt. Add extra apple juice or honey by taste.
Your breakfast is ready to serve- divide the oats into two bowls and enjoy with your special someone.
3. High-fiber Muesli

Ingredients:
- 20g oats
- 5g All-Bran
- 2g wheatgerm
- 5g raisins
- 7g of dried apricots
- 3g golden linseed
- Milk of choice
Instructions:
Mix everything in a bowl and top with milk of choice. Your breakfast is ready to be consumed!
