Amplified Ale Works is a wonderful venue with glass and concrete walls and high ceilings that let in plenty of natural light during the day. Many people can sit at picnic tables with umbrellas on the patio or at community tables that are set up inside. It’s a two-bar establishment: there’s a coffee bar immediately at your entrance and a beer bar across the hall. 3. Mission Brewery

Located right next to Petco Park, the Mission Brewery in downtown San Diego’s East Village has been producing commercial-quality beer for over seven years. It is one of the best craft breweries in San Diego County, having won 25 national and international accolades. The historic Wonder Bread building houses Mission’s 3000-square-foot tasting room and 11,000-square-foot brewery, where they make all of their handmade beer.
